Editorial work (2011 - 2026)

METANOIA

Metanoia was my first publication, an anti-psychiatry fanzine inspired by my experience working as an art teacher in a mental institution and a penitentiary in Córdoba, Argentina, in 2011. It consisted of five issues focused on madness, marginality, institutional abuse, stigma, drugs, and mind control. Along with my writings and drawings, Metanoia featured artworks by psychiatric patients, prisoners, children and other creators outside the cultural mainstream. The last issue was published in 2016.

LA LLAGA (The Wound)

My next editorial project was La Llaga (“The Wound”), a magazine created in Buenos Aires as a platform for visceral, rebellious art. Four issues were published between 2018 and 2024, bringing together illustrators, collage artists, poets, and writers from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, and the United States who contributed some of their most transgressive work. We all shared a common enemy: moral hypocrisy and authoritarianism, whether it came from liberals or conservatives. La Llaga broke all types of taboos, digging deep into the forbidden zones of imagination.
