Drawing has always been a necessity for me.
I’m a visual screamer, a compulsive creator, an hyperactive imaginator.
My artwork reflects a raw vision of mankind: self-predatory, addicted to control, and profoundly sick. Someone once described it as “Goya on acid,” due to its nightmarish, almost hallucinatory atmosphere. The brutal and the voluptuous coexist in my work: alongside decadent portraits of the human condition, you will find erotic, hedonistic illustrations, where the search of ecstasy becomes a main theme. Dark humor also permeats my artwork.
There are other interests in my life beside drawing visionary fucked up images.
Over the past fifteen years, I’ve:
written, edited, and published my own fanzines and magazines;
worked as an art teacher with psychiatric patients, prisoners, autistic people, children, and more;
done commisioned art for bands, writers, multiple artists and independent businesses;
organized exhibitions and underground events in different cities across Argentina;
pasted up my more controversial works on the streets of Buenos Aires...
I could go on, but I don’t want to be boring.
The point is that, in every case, the purpose has been the same:
TO KEEP REBELLIOUS IMAGINATION ALIVE.
